Lead Pastor

Pastor Mike Pickett has been serving as the lead pastor of Southgate Church since July of 2022, bringing a passion for teaching the Word of God and shepherding a diverse congregation. With over 22 years of ministry experience, Pastor Mike believes in creating an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of background, can experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

He is committed to preaching the Bible in a way that connects with real life, helping people deepen their relationship with God and equipping them to live out their faith in practical ways. Pastor Mike’s heart for discipleship extends beyond the pulpit, as he directs the Heartland Conference School of Ministry and serves as the Clergy Development Director, mentoring and guiding new ministers in their callings.

Youth Pastors

Jonathan and Tara Miller are passionate youth pastors at Southgate Church, where they have dedicated their lives to ministry for the past four years. With a deep commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth of young people, they believe wholeheartedly in the transformative power of faith and are fervently praying for miracles within this generation. As devoted parents to their one-year-old son, they strive to embody the values of love, service, and faith in both their family and their ministry. Jonathan and Tara are excited to witness how God will work in the lives of the youth they serve, empowering them to live out their faith bold

Worship Leader 

Kara has been a dedicated worship leader at Southgate Church for many years, passionately guiding the congregation in heartfelt worship and music. With her exceptional vocal talent and deep faith, Kara has created an uplifting atmosphere that fosters spiritual connection and growth. Her commitment to excellence and her genuine love for the church community have made a lasting impact, inspiring countless individuals to deepen their worship experience. Through her leadership, Kara has not only enhanced the musical ministry of Southgate Church but has also become a cherished figure in the lives of many congregation members.
